Americans Waiting For Trump’s Response to North Korea Attack. Here’s What We Know So Far…

By

North Korea has fired the first shot in the inevitable second Korean War with an unprovoked attack on Japan.

There were no casualties, but this was a direct assault on the Japanese homeland, nevertheless.

A ballistic missile fired by North Korea entered Japanese airspace and flew over the Hokkaido region before landing in the ocean on the other side of the island nation.

The incident was severe enough for the Japanese government to send emergency text messages to its citizens urging them to find shelter.

Following the attack, North Korean media stated that the hermit dictatorship would continue to “sharpen its just nuclear treasured sword,” and would not hesitate to destroy America and its allies.

“If the U.S. persists in the reckless anti-DPRK moves, sanctions and pressure, it will eventually meet a miserable fate while spending hard time,” read an article in the state-run Rodong Sinumun, adding, “So long as the U.S. and its vassal forces persist with such actions and imperialism, the root cause of injustice and evils, remains, the DPRK will further sharpen its just nuclear treasured sword in its hand and defend independence and justice with nukes and usher in a new era of national prosperity with their might.”

President Trump was not impressed, and in a phone call with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, he vowed American military might would keep Japan safe.

“All options are on the table,” warned Trump, adding:

“The world has received North Korea’s latest message loud and clear: this regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior.”
