America in Tears While Trump Honored Seal’s Widow… We Now Know What Happened in Secret Before The Speech

President Donald honored the widow of slain Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens during his first address to Congress.

The emotional standing ovation given to a teary-eyed Carryn Owens was the most talked about moment of the night.

“For as the Bible teaches us, there is no greater act of love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends,” Trump said. “Ryan laid down his life for his friends, for his country, and for our freedom. And we will never forget Ryan.”

What most people don’t know is that Trump met in private with Carryn Owens and her three children before his address.
A media kept secret from the media.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer only revealed that the meeting had taken place the next day. He said on Wednesday that Trump’s meeting with the Owens family was intentionally kept secret to avoid press attention.

During the meeting, the White House even asked Mrs. Owens if it would be OK for President Trump to reference her during his speech, Spicer said. She reportedly replied, “I’d like that.”

“Even with referencing her in the speech, that was her decision,” Spicer told reporters.

Trump also embraced Mrs. Owens after his highly anticipated address to a joint session of Congress.
