Alec Baldwin Gets Trashed for Repeatedly Insulting President Trump

Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin sought to delay the sun setting on his career by skewering President Trump.

Liberals were so delighted with Baldwin’s venomous portrayals of Trump that he was invited to repeatedly revise the role on Saturday Night Live.

But that hasn’t sat well with conservative Americans. You know, the half of the country that put Trump in the White House.

And, for someone who relies on public approval to make a living (we’re talking about Baldwin, not Trump), that’s not a very good career move.

Now, one of SNL’s more iconic veteran comedians, Rob Schneider, is laying into Baldwin for taking his Trump-bashing too far.

In an interview with the New York Daily News, Schneider said:

“The fun of ‘Saturday Night Live’ was always you never knew which way they leaned politically. You kind of assumed they would lean more left and liberal, but now the cat’s out of the bag, they are completely against Trump, which I think makes it less interesting because you know the direction the piece is going.

“Carvey played it respectfully. To me, the genius of Dana Carvey [who repeatedly portrayed George H.W. Bush in the early 1990s] was Dana always had empathy for the people he played, and Alec Baldwin has nothing but a fuming, seething anger toward the person he plays.”

In other words, poking fun and making political jokes is one thing. But Baldwin has been outed as nothing but a hateful little man.
