Activist Circuit Attorney Threatens To Prosecute St. Louis Couple, Made To Regret It After Citizens Take To Twitter

By

Opinion | It’s being reported that the couple in the pictures who were holding their guns and defending their property were eating dinner outside when they heard the commotion and saw the mob coming their way.

I 100% agree with their right to brandish their personal defense weapons as a deterrent, and for their protection, when confronted with a roving mob that just entered their private, gated neighborhood.

The one thing I do not agree with is pointing their weapons at anyone, unless they were in such immediate danger that they feared for their lives in that immediate moment, you never point a gun at anyone.

However, given the intensity of the situation, I can also understand how adrenaline and instinct likely took over.  It should be noted that The couple said, “We were in fear for our lives.”

No shots were fired, and as far as I can tell no one was hurt.  That did not stop the Circuit Attorney, Kim Gardner, from issuing a statement.  You would expect the statement was condemning mobs of people intimidating quiet neighborhoods, right?  Wrong.

Instead, Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner sent out this statement threatening … the couple who were defending their home!

The Circuit Attorney is starting an investigation.

This is how most people responded on Twitter:

Evil has become good and good evil…the real problem is like St. Louis authorities who investigate law abiding citizens, and let insurrectionists flaunt the law
