Senator and former presidential candidate Marco Rubio sent rapper Snoop Dogg a brutal warning over a music video that included a mock execution of President Donald Trump.
In the video, Snoop Dogg approaches a clownish Trump character and shoots him in the head.
Rubio, who is not fan of President Trump, said that what Snoop called “artistic expression” had crossed the line.
“Snoop shouldn’t have done that,” Rubio says in the following videeo. “We’ve had presidents assassinated before in this country so anything like that is really something you should really be very careful about.”
As Rubio rightly pointed out, while Snoop may never personally shoot President Trump, by suggesting that doing so is OK, he might have encouraged someone else to attempt an assassination.
