A young boy saved his father’s life when a car fell on top of him.
It all began when Stephen Parker and his two sons, Mason and J.T., began working on a car in their backyard. The car had been so heavy that both Stephen and Mason (then 17 years old) needed to work together to jack it up.
After a few minutes of work, Mason cut himself and went inside the house, leaving J.T., then just 8 years old, outside. Stephen remained underneath the car, attempting to fix the car’s axle.
Suddenly, the jack gave out, and the car fell. Stephen was pinned underneath, unable to breathe.
“I was totally trapped,” he recalled.
Despite weighing only 50 pounds at the time, he lifted the car in a matter of minutes. “It was scary, and I didn’t think that I could jack the car up, but I just kept on trying,” he later said.
Such an awesome story!
